Event Description

Full Description:
Join UQ’s SAGE Pilot of Athena SWAN Self-Assessment Team for this interactive panel discussion, where you can learn more about UQ’s involvement in the pilot, and what it means for UQ and our staff working in STEMM disciplines.

Each session will feature distinguished guest speakers and members of the pilot’s Self-Assessment Team, and as an audience member you will have the chance to engage with the panel.

Speakers:
- Dr Dee Gibbon, Associate Director, Workplace Diversity and Inclusion (session
facilitator)
- Catherine Fox, journalist, equal rights advocate and author of Stop Fixing Women
(guest speaker and panel member)
- Professor Fred D’Agostino, President, Academic Board (UQ SAT member)
- Panellists from UQ’s SAT and SAT Working Parties

The event will be replicated across UQ’s three campuses. Please RSVP for the Herston panel event by 27 October 2017 (due to limited capacity, ensure you get in early to secure your seat).

The first 100 people to register for any session will receive a copy of Catherine Fox’s best-selling book Stop Fixing Women.

As seats are limited, all forums will be live streamed online. Details for online streaming will be available on this page soon. Please note the web browser Internet Explorer is not compatible with Echo360 live streaming so please ensure Firefox or Google Chrome is used when accessing the link.
