Join us for this exclusive opportunity to hear Australia's first female and 11th Nobel Laureate, Professor Elizabeth Blackburn AC, discuss gender equity and diversity issues in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) disciplines. A prize-winning molecular biologist, Professor Blackburn is a strong advocate for women forging a career in science and is recognised as a true inspiration to women, and to all Australians.

Following her keynote address, Professor Blackburn will participate in a lively panel discussion on the barriers and challenges for women in science. She will be joined by panel members:
- Dr Geraldine Richmond, Presidential Chair in Science, University of Oregon
- Professor Alan Rowan, Director, Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, UQ
- Professor Debra Bernhardt, Director, Centre for Theoretical and Computational Molecular Science, Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechonology, UQ
