- Human services professionals, friends and colleagues are invited to join us for Conversations and Canapés: Contemporary issues surrounding Indigenous Australians and refugee resettlement, a thought provoking evening hosted by the UQ Social Work and Human Services Alumni Association.
Seeking refuge in a new country or district can be fraught with challenges, as can making sense of the land on which you've been connected to for millions of years.
Hear from a panel of experts as they discuss the contemporary issues surrounding Indigenous Australians and refugee resettlement. Cost is $35 per person which includes canapes and a light meal.
