ABOUT THE LECTURE: 'From Business Entrepreneur to Social Entrepreneur'
Ronni Kahn is the founder of food rescue charity OzHarvest that collects and delivers surplus food to needy organisations.
OzHarvest's philosophy is simple but effective - donate leftover food to worthwhile charities rather than throwing it in the bin.
It now operates in six cities: Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Adelaide and most recently Brisbane. OzHarvest delivers to 398 organisations that feed people and has acquired approximately 500 donors.
Ronni Kahn has not only had an impact on countless people who would otherwise go hungry but has also saved thousands of tonnes of food from landfill
Voluntary donations to assist OzHarvest would be gratefully received at the end of the function.
