Our child safety obligations under the Reportable Conduct Scheme

UQ provides safe, accessible processes for raising concerns, making complaints and reporting harm involving children.

We take all child safety concerns seriously, and report relevant conduct to the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) where required by law under the Reportable Conduct Scheme.

The Reportable Conduct Scheme strengthens how organisations report and respond to concerns about the conduct of their staff, volunteers or contractors towards children.

By reporting a concern through UQ's complaints process, you are reporting the matter to the Vice-Chancellor (or delegate) as the Head of Entity.
