The below email invitation to the ceremonies was sent by the Academic Registrar on behalf of the Chancellor and was first issued to relevant academic staff (non-casual, continuing or fixed term teaching/research, including adjunct and honorary) on Wednesday 4 November 2015. A reminder invitation has will be sent to (unregistered) staff on a fortnightly basis.
Please note that only staff in the below eligible staffing categories recieved an invitation to attend ceremonies.

Subject: UQ Graduation Ceremony Registration
The Chancellor, Mr John Story AO, and members of the Senate invite you to attend theDecember 2015 graduation ceremonies. As a member of academic staff, you are invited to participate in the Academic Procession, and to be seated on the stage for the ceremonies relevant to your discipline.

If you wish to attend any of these ceremonies, please note that it is necessary to complete the online registration form by no later than Friday 4 December, so that stage seating can be allocated and suitable academic dress can be arranged for you. Academic Staff registering to participate in ceremonies are asked to note the following important change to academic dress arrangements at St Lucia. From December 2015, pre-ordered academic dress for staff members must be collected from the academic procession registration booth in the Foyer of the UQ Centre. Academic dress arrangements for Gatton graduation ceremonies must be collected from the first floor of Morrison Hall as in previous ceremony periods.
Having members of academic staff participating in the Academic Procession is a highlight for graduands and guests, and we hope it is an enjoyable experience for you also, as you celebrate the success of your students.
You are requested to note that, in keeping with the revised administrative processes previously conveyed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) to Executive Deans, late registrations to attend graduation ceremonies cannot be accepted, because graduations staff will be fully deployed on other aspects of ceremony planning after Friday 4 December. If you have not registered by the deadline I regret to advise that you will not be able to participate in the Academic Procession.
Due to the limited capacity of the venues, and in order to provide maximum guest tickets to graduands, academic staff are encouraged to participate in the Academic Procession. Those wishing to invite industry partners or sponsors may apply for up to 2 VIP tickets.
If you are graduating with an award at the ceremony, you must also respond to the invitation sent to your student email address. This email includes important information regarding your status as a graduating student. When you arrive on the ceremony day, please ensure you make yourself known to a Graduations staff member, so you can be briefed on the procedure for graduating from stage.
