The University of Queensland understands from yesterday’s (19 June) press release by the Crime and Misconduct Commission that its investigation into an irregular admission to the School of Medicine has been completed.

It also notes the CMC’s lengthy investigation has not resulted in criminal charges against any person.

The University of Queensland President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Høj said UQ had worked extensively with the CMC over almost two years to review our procedures and processes. Where there was scope for improvements these have been completed in conjunction with the CMC.

UQ is keen to see the CMC investigation finalised.
