UQ Sport is inviting students, staff and the general public to come and try a range of group fitness and lifestyle classes during the first week of Semester One.

Come’n’Try Week commences on Monday 28 February and offers a total of 60 free classes throughout the week.

UQ Sport Lifestyle Program Coordinator Robert Olding said Come’n’Try Week was the perfect opportunity to find the right class or program for you.

“Within the Lifestyle Program alone we’re offering everything from hip-hop dancing and salsa to kickboxing and mixed martial arts,” Mr Olding said.

Come’n’Try Week also provides free access to a range of group fitness classes at the UQ Sport & Fitness Centre.

Some of the free group fitness classes on offer include BodyAttack, Zumba, BodyVive, and brand new classes Group Step and Group Ride.

As an added bonus, anyone who participates in a free group fitness class during Come’n’Try Week will be able to purchase two 10-Session Group Fitness Passes for the price of one, when buying with a friend.

Those wishing to participate in as many free classes as possible will also have the opportunity to win a free Lifestyle short course and 10-session Group Fitness Pass.

This prize will be given to the person who attends the most classes during Come’n’Try Week, providing they collect the secret codeword from each class they attend.

More details on this competition will be available on UQ Sport’s Facebook page.

Anyone can participate in Come’n’Try Week by simply registering online and downloading a free weekly pass, required for entry into all classes.
