TransLink has advised some changes to their services to the UQ St Lucia campus from Monday, February 22 ahead of the start of semester.
The following changes will affect buses travelling to UQ St Lucia from this date:
Route 109 (City to The University of Queensland via Eleanor Schonell Bridge)
· move from Annerley Road to service PA Hospital and Boggo Road busway stations
· no longer service the Dutton Park bus stop near Gladstone Road. Passengers are advised to use the Boggo Road busway station or Dutton Park Place stop adjacent to TJ Doyle Memorial Park Drive
· depart 5 minutes earlier on all weekday services after 3.15pm to Brisbane City and all weekend services to Brisbane City
· operate extended hours and higher frequency services:
· every 15 minutes between 5.30pm and 7.15pm, then every 20 minutes until 8.55pm weekdays to University of Queensland
· every 20 minutes between 7.20am and 9.20am and between 7.35pm and 9.15pm weekdays to Brisbane City
· every 20 minutes between 5.25pm and 7.05pm weekends to The University of Queensland
· every 20 minutes between 8.05am and 9.45am and between 5.25pm and 7.05pm weekends to Brisbane City.
These changes will provide 36 new services per week and improved connection to trains at Park Road station.
Route 139 (Sunnybank Hills to The University of Queensland via Eleanor Schonell Bridge)
· timetable changes
Route 160 (Garden City to City)
· four additional services will provide a 10 minute frequency for outbound services between 2.40pm and 4.10pm weekdays.
Route 169 (Eight Mile Plains to University of Queensland via Eleanor Schonell Bridge)
· a new morning service from Eight Mile Plains busway station to PA Hospital
· higher frequency services:
· every 20 minutes between 6.56am and 9.56am on weekdays from University of Queensland
· every 15 minutes between 6.15pm and 8.45pm on weekdays from Eight Mile Plains
These changes will provide 22 new services per week.
Route 412 (St Lucia and University of Queensland to City via Toowong)
· new services (operating university semesters only)
· departs City 8.02am
· departs UQ Chancellor Place 3.55pm
· departs UQ Chancellor Place 6.00pm
· departs St Lucia South 7.06am
· departs St Lucia South 7.20am
· departs St Lucia South 8.10am (currently 8.07am)
· departs St Lucia South 8.16am (currently 8.21am)
Changes will also be made to the following:
· route 66 (Woolloongabba to QUT Kelvin Grove)
· route 160 (Garden City to City)
· route P206 (Carindale to City)
· route 333 (Chermside to City)
· route P343 (Aspley to City)
· route 345 (Aspley (Maundrell Tce) to City)
