In the end of 2006 there were 32… 26 have already gone to great homes and six wonderful cats still need to find a new family.

Researchers from The University of Queensland’s Centre for Companion Animal Health are looking for homes for six lovable and healthy feline companions who are ready to be adopted after helping out in a nutrition study.

Daisy, Jasmin, Stella, Amelia, Sylvio and Butler are young adult cats. They are all healthy, de-sexed, vaccinated, de-wormed, on flea control medication and microchipped. They cost just $55 (the price of the microchip).

For more information on how to book an appointment to meet the cats, call 3365 2110 between 8am and 5pm weekdays or Marcia Coradini on 0414 011393.

To see pictures of the cats and a brief description of each of their personalities, visit the Centre’s website.
