University of Queensland Business School (UQBS) academic Professor Mark Dodgson has today been listed as one of 25 future business leaders in BRW magazine, August 24-30.

Professor Dodgson, who will launch his report on innovation in manufacturing (co-authored by fellow UQBS academic Dr Peter Innes for the Australian Business Foundation) on Monday, said he was surprised and delighted to be listed.

“I have had the privilege of meeting some of the others on the list and it is a real honour to be included in such company,” Professor Dodgson said.

Business leaders featured include Ahmed Fahour (CEO, Australian Operations, National Australia Bank), Joseph Carrozzi (National Managing Partner, Markets, PricewaterhouseCoopers), Marius Kloppers (Group President, Non-ferrous Division, BHP Billiton), Launa Inman (Managing Director, Target), and Julie Bishop (Federal Minister for Education, Science and Training).

Also on the list are Dominos Australia and New Zealand CEO Don Meij – who will feature at the UQ Business School’s CEO Summit tomorrow, and UQ Commerce/Law graduate Jenny Hutson (Chairperson, S8).

Co-author of the best-selling management text Think, Play, Do, Professor Dodgson is Director of UQ Business School’s Technology and Innovation Management Centre and heads up the Master of Innovation and Technology Management program.
