Full Description:: The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences’ 2013 Research and Innovation Awards recognise members of staff who have made an outstanding contribution to the Faculty’s research and innovation activities. Two awards of $5,000 are awarded to researchers who have made a significant contribution to their field of research (Research Award) or translating their research into benefits to the broader community (Innovation Award). Winners will be announced in a ceremony during UQ's Research Week which will be hosted by the Faculty’s Executive Dean Associate Professor Julie Duck and the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Max Lu. Academic and professional staff, along with students (undergraduate, postgraduate and research) are welcome to attend.
