- The 2013 (Chinese Bridge) Mandarin Chinese Language Competition in Queensland is finally back for its 4th Queensland preliminaries and its time for you to start preparing! This year’s competition showcase is going to be better than ever before, involving great prizes with the top two skilled participants sent off to China to experience this amazing country first hand and compete with other students from around the world.
Chinese Bridge is a world-wide Chinese competition for all university students made to give an opportunity for participants to showcase their talents and passion for Chinese as well as improve relations between China and world-wide countries. Since its launch in 2002, over 50 000 students from over 50 countries have participated in this annual competition organized by the Office of the Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) in Beijing. All non-native speaking students under the age of 35 undergoing tertiary education (TAFE or University) in Queensland are eligible for this competition. Confucius Institute in alliance with The University of Queensland is organizing this event aiming to make this year the biggest and most successful competition yet !
