- Practices Day provides a great opportunity for you to network with human service professionals, friends and colleagues while hearing the latest best-practice techniques to assist you in your day-to-day working life.

Keynote presenter, Professor Howard Karger will present Challenges for Social Work in the Age of Austerity: Queensland
and Beyond
Professor Howard Karger is the Head of School at UQ's Social Work and Human Services. He is an internationally recognised scholar in social welfare policy, and has authored or co-authored 11 books and almost 90 articles and book chapters.
You won't leave his session without being professionally and personally challenged and inspired, with positive impact on your practice.
