Event Description

Full Description:
Archaeology, heritage, history and TV
Adam Ford, Dig International, Ocean Grove, Victoria

ABC1’s Who’s Been Sleeping In My House uses archaeological and historical approaches to investigate the people, stories and fabric of historic homes across Australia. It is also a rare example of an Australian made program about heritage both showing on Australian TV and also focusing on Australia’s past. In this informal session the presenter Adam Ford relates his experience with the program, including the challenges of translating professional archaeological & cultural heritage management approaches into an accessible and entertaining TV format. For more information about the show see
