Full Description:: Conducted by one of Australia’s rising stars, Warwick Potter, the UQ School of Music will present a dynamic and powerful program.

The program will begin with the earliest of Gustav Mahler’s ‘independent’ symphonic movements, Blumine, performed by the UQ Symphony Orchestra. The Orchestra is joined by the UQ Chorale for a performance of Schumann’s Requiem for Mignon, op.98b, a poetic and emotive composition.

The final work, Chopin’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra no.1 in E minor, op 11, will be performed by Soloist Linh Tran Thai.
