Event Description

Full Description:
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia from the first Sunday in July to the following Sunday to celebrate and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living culture on earth.
NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee and has a long history. The theme for this year’s event is “For our Elders”, recognising the importance and influence of our older generations, the elders.

To highlight QAAFIs commitment to NAIDOC, we are proud to announce that QAAFI will be hosting ‘Deadly Trivia’ on Friday 7th July on the QBP rooftop, from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. Each participant will need to register their attendance via the survey link. You are welcome to formulate your own small teams, or rock up on your own – the QAAFI team will assist with assembly of the teams on the day, dependant on actual attendance numbers.

Light snacks and soft drinks/water will be provided.

Thanks, and we look forward to enjoying a fun afternoon of Deadly Trivia with you!
