Event Description

Full Description:
The Brisbane Transplant Infectious Diseases meeting will bring together local clinicians, scientists and other healthcare professionals working in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, and transplant medicine. The aim of the meeting will be to give individuals a stage to present on their active research or clinical interests, as well as to form successful research and clinical relationships between healthcare specialty groups and basic science researchers. By shining a light on the clinical challenges that face transplant patients in Queensland related to infectious diseases, we hope to provide a platform for cutting-edge translational research and improved patient care.

The convenors are Dr Andrew Burke, Dr Samuel Chan, A/Prof Julia Clark, Dr Andrea Henden, Prof Jason Roberts, and Dr Adam Stewart.

The full-day seminar series will be held at the RBWH Education Centre and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Herston, Queensland, with optional attendance online.

The organising committee warmly invites you to this inaugural Brisbane Transplant Infectious Diseases event - an interdisciplinary and collaborative meeting focused on transplant and infectious diseases care.
