Event Description

Full Description:
Presenter: Ms Natasha Simons

The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) is a transformative initiative, supported by the Australian government, to provide Australian researchers and industry access to nationally significant digital research infrastructure, platforms, skills and high-quality data collections.

In this talk, Natasha Simons, ARDC’s Associate Director for Data & Services, will introduce a full range of ARDC services accessible to Australian researchers in all disciplines, from data discovery, analysis and storage to research platforms, software, and cloud computing solutions. For example, the ARDC Nectar Research Cloud is used by over 50,000 researchers every year; the ARDC’s Research Data Australia helps researchers find, access and reuse data from over 100 Australian research organisations, government agencies and cultural institutions.

As a national research infrastructure, the ARDC is helping to create research environments that accelerate research and innovation to address the biggest challenges of our time, from environment to economy, to health and wellbeing.

To learn more about ARDC services for research, join Natasha for the talk!
