Full Description:: The RECOVER Conference 2022 will feature new and novel communication methods designed to optimise patient care during injury rehabilitation.

The Conference features international keynote speaker Dr David Putrino, the Director of Rehabilitation Innovation, Mount Sinai Health and Associate Professor of Rehabilitation and Human Performance in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Dr Putrino will present his work on using novel technologies to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Our national keynote speaker is Dr Claire Ashton-James. Dr Ashton-James is an Associate Professor of Pain Management at The University of Sydney with expertise in patient-provider communication and social contributors to pain and pain management. Claire will present her work on the importance of identifying and responding to patient emotion in conversations about pain and pain management

RECOVER researchers will present recent research, complemented by interactive workshops of evidence-based, innovative interventions and technologies to assist injured people in their recovery.
