Event Description

Full Description:
Transnational corporations have come to dominate every sector of global and national food systems, from agricultural production through to processing and retailing.

In this roundtable, an interdisciplinary group of scholars from UQ and the University of Melbourne will discuss various ways in which corporations are exercising their market, techno-scientific and political power across these food systems. They will address some of the health, ecological and social impacts of these corporate strategies and activities.
