- The Friends of Antiquity, in conjunction with the Discipline of Classics and Ancient History (School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry, UQ) present the 27th Annual Ancient History Day. This year’s theme is Power, Status, and Authority.
Detailed timetable below:
9.00-9.10: Welcome by Assoc. Prof. David Pritchard, Classics and Ancient History Discipline Coordinator, who will introduce the Head of the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry, Professor Lisa Featherstone, and invite her to open the event. Chair Dr Dorothy Watts AM will outline the day’s formalities. The R D Milns Antiquities Museum will be open during the lunch period.
