Event Description

Full Description:
Join us for two talks as part of the 2019 HMNS Seminar series.

'The effect of time on interference in sensorimotor adaptation' by Dr Li-Ann Leow from the UQ School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences (HMNS). This presentation describes a study exploring the distinct processes that underpin interference of different motor memories, and examine how the passage of time reduces interference by exerting dissociable effects on these distinct processes.

'Blue health: Understanding ecological sensibilities in recreational lifestyle sport' by Dr Rebecca Olive from HMNS. Rebecca will outline her DECRA project, which aims to explore how surfers and ocean swimmers develop environmental attitudes and behaviours relating to healthy oceans.

No RSVP needed. All welcome
