- The Active Learning Pathways Project (ALPP) used a systematic and methodical approach to implement projects on embedding a range of active learning approaches in a blended way in fifteen 1st and 2nd year courses across the seven Schools of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. In this session five of these 15 initiatives will be showcased pechakucha style and the overarching ALPP action research framework of PIED (Plan/ Implement/ Evaluate/ Disseminate) will be discussed. The audience will have an opportunity to actively participate and post comments or questions live during the presentations, and get their answers at the end of the presentations.

Challenges and lessons learnt during project implementation
Insights on using action research frameworks in embedding active learning approaches across a large Faculty such as HASS
