Event Description
- Full Description:
- Liberation Theology
We explore the controversial Liberation Theology.
The idea that the church should not only focus on the poor, but stand by the poor, to get involved in the political, economic and social struggle of the poor.
We look at why the church should stand by the poor, why Christians should do it more, how they can do it, and learn about the lives and writings of people associated with Liberation Theology and why it is controversial.
We also explore community projects that we can do in the world.
If you would like to attend please send an email to the email address listed.
All are welcome to attend.
We meet fortnightly.
Starts 9th of March - 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
