- The 8th Latin American Film Festival at The University of Queensland is an opportunity to experience a sample of the recent creative best of Latin American cinema.
Twelve Latin American films with English subtitles, will be featured across six weeknights from Wednesday 8 October to Wednesday 15 October 2014.
The Film Festival will show film productions from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The Latin American Film Festival is proudly sponsored by the School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies with the support of the Latin American Embassies in Canberra, UQ LASA and Colombia Latte.
