Full Description:
Institute for Molecular Bioscience (IMB) is seeking expressions of interest for its inaugural IMB Research Advancement Award.

Get your PhD with us! Let our research leaders help you reach your scientific potential.

Expressions of interest are sought from talented domestic students who demonstrate:
> excellence in academic achievement
> a capacity and passion for research
> independence and leadership potential.

Award value
Award recipients will receive a $30,000 career enrichment award, payable in annual instalments of $10,000. Ongoing receipt of the award is subject to continued eligibility and sustained high levels of performance.

Eligibility
You are eligible to apply if you are a student intending to undertake full-time PhD studies at IMB and are an Australian
citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident, or a New Zealand citizen. Recipients must also secure an Australian Postgraduate
Award or equivalent award to support living expenses as a part of the application process. Honours students (or honours graduates or equivalent) who are keen to pursue a PhD at IMB, commencing early 2015 are encouraged to apply.

Expressions of interest must be emailed to postgrad-office@imb.uq.edu.au by 5pm on 15 September 2014.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to IMB, where they will tour the institute and meet leading researchers.
