Full Description:: This cross-disciplinary symposium is designed to bring together academics, clinicians, researchers and students from different disciplines within the University and the community to present on how compassion is or could be a part of their research, studies or practice.

The symposium will begin on the evening of Friday 5 September with Professor James R Doty’s keynote address to set the scene.

Please note this will be a free public lecture, sponsored by the School of Psychology. If you wish to attend both the public lecture and the symposium, you will need to Register for each event separately.

On the Saturday there will be a rich combination of UQ academics and researchers from the disciplines of Philosophy, Religion, Psychology, Medicine, Education, Languages and Business presenting on the day.
