Why study the Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology?

Epidemiology the branch of medicine dealing with the incidence and prevalence of disease in large populations and with detection of the source and cause of epidemics of infectious disease.

This program aims to provide structured coursework, developing epidemiological, biostatistical and methodological skills to an advanced level.

Program Rules and Requirements

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.

Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.

A student is required to obtain #16 comprising #10 from Part A, and #6 from Parts B or C.
