Why study Economics?

The Honours Program in Economics provides students with professional training in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and depending on the chosen electives in Econometrics and a range of specialisations. In addition it provides students with the appropriate coursework background and preparation for PhD study as well as providing students with exposure to research methods and conducting an independent research project.
