 Team Videos

In preparation for our 2006 Lab Retreat to Cape Tribulation in Far North Queensland, all team members produced, directed and starred in a video production that presented a brief summary of their current research projects. Below is a selection of some of these videos.
In a Gala night of celebration at the Cow Bay Hotel, in Cape Tribulation, the "Wilson Lab" Best Picture Academy Award was presented to Amanda Niehaus for her documentary exposing her research on the importance of environmental fluctuations on tadpole development. The People's Choice Award was presented to Kris Murray for his creative and linguistically challenged piece presenting his research on the role of chytrid fungus in natural populations of tree frogs. But, as you may soon discover, many of the other videos are little gems illustrating that scientists can be not only very creative but also somewhat odd too. Enjoy....
