Lab gets running in support of International Women’s Day

We had eight members of the Integrative Ecology Lab join 6000 other participants in the annual International Women’s Day fun run at South Bank. Well done to Amanda (& Nelle), Catriona, Camille, Nat, Gwendolyn, Candice, Robbie & Sean for taking part in the event. All proceeds raised by this event went to the worthy charity “Chicks in Pink”, which helps support those affected by breast cancer. Everyone put in a solid running effort and enjoyed the antics of weaving in and out of the enormous crowd. As always, Sean made a grand entrance. Despite losing his phone the night before, he located us among the crowd by standing at the starter’s line and continuously shouting “Wilsooooooo, Wilsoooooooo….” until we eventually ran passed and couldn’t hide any longer. How could we have doubted him? Everyone rendezvoused post-run for a much deserved breakfast and coffee. Well done all.
