“The Self-Renewing Brain: How new nerve cells enhance learning
and delay dementia”, a free public lecture delivered by Professor Perry Bartlett, Director, Queensland Brain Institute, UQ

Professor Perry Bartlett was appointed Foundation Chair in Molecular Neuroscience at the University of Qld in 2002 and the Director of the Queensland Brain Institute in 2003. He previously headed the Neuroscience Division at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne. His research group has been recognized on the front cover of Nature magazine and the QBI has become one of the world’s premier neuroscience research facilities.
