Full Description:: Professor Henry Liu, Director of Mcity and Bruce D. Greenshields Collegiate Professor of Engineering, University of Michigan is our keynote presenter who will be exploring safety assessment for highly automated vehicles. The lecture will discuss the crucial need for public trust in highly automated vehicles and introduces the Mcity Safety Assessment Program - a two-part protocol designed to test the behavioural competence of automated vehicles, aiming to create a publicly inspectable framework and facilitate the safe integration of automated vehicle technology into society.
