- This event is to mark LGBTQ* Domestic Violence Awareness Day and DFV Prevention Month 2023.
*This is the official acronym used by the founders of the day.
This gender equality forum will focus on tackling the gender inequality drivers which underpin gendered violence and will include a presentation from Georgia Killick from Our Watch, followed by discussion groups.
It will introduce the Our Watch framework ‘Educating for Equality’ which aims to provide a whole of university approach to guide, support, and build upon existing work to promote gender equality and prevent gender-based violence. This event is aimed at all members of the UQ Community (both students and staff).
