UQ HSW division has an active hearing conservation program in partnership with the Audiology Clinic within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. The topic of this session include:
• How the hearing system works
• Wax management
• Noise protection
• Importance of regular hearing checks and what a hearing assessment entails
• Hearing loss and hearing interventions e.g. hearing aids, communication programs, assistive listening.
