Event Description

Full Description:
Hello all,

We invite you to join CMS and the Marine Society UQ at our bi-annual TalkFest on 18th February, from 10:30am – 2:30pm.

The event will comprise a morning and afternoon session separated by a break for lunch. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, TalkFest will be held virtually this semester, via Zoom.
Please register in advance. The full schedule is attached, and you will receive a calendar event upon registration.

TalkFest is a biannual event organised by the Centre of Marine Science in conjunction with the Marine Society UQ and provides an opportunity for marine researchers at UQ and their collaborators to share their research with the UQ marine community and beyond. TalkFest, and other CMS activities, are generously supported by the Faculty of Science and the Goodman Foundation.

We’re very excited to hear about some of the diverse research from across the UQ Marine community, and hope you’ll join us (virtually) for a great day of talks!
