The group's focus is the application of data science, machine learning, statistical learning, applied mathematics, computation, and other 'artificial intelligence' techniques for managing pandemics both at the epidemic and clinical level.

Title: How a little-known data scientist convinced the West to wear face masks

Abstract: The title of this talk is actually the title of an article in The Telegraph in The Telegraph about my journey in co-founding the Masks4All movement. I share how I found myself becoming the face of Masks4All globally, and what I learned about making an impact as a data scientist.
