UQ Diamantina Institute Seminar Series
Guest speakers Dr Blerida Banushi and Dr Emma-Anne Karlsen from UQDI.
Blerida will be presenting Girdin, Daple and Gipie: Reuniting the family.
Emma-Anne will be presenting Clinical Implications of Hook-Related Protein Expression in Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Cancer.

Blerida Banushi’s Bio: Dr Blerida Banushi is a postdoctoral researcher at UQ-Diamantina Institute's Simpson lab. She did her PhD and first postdoc at the University College London in membrane protein trafficking. Her current work is highly translational and is based at the Translational Research Institute.

Emma-Anne Karlsen Bio: Dr Emma-Anne Karlsen is a General Surgery PHO at the Mater Hospital Brisbane. She is concurrently a PhD student at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute’s Simpson Lab investigating novel biomarkers and treatment strategies for breast cancer.
