- Our next UQ Learning and Teaching Focused Network will include a seminar titled 'Academic teaching staff wellbeing: sharing our experiences and ideas for change'.
Researchers have found that many academic staff in universities report poor wellbeing, including high rates of stress and burnout. The collective COVID-19 experience has exacerbated these concerns.
In this seminar, we invite teaching staff to discuss the stressors we experience in our working lives and share ideas about how we can promote and support our wellbeing in future. The session is informed by research from Dr Marissa Edwards (Faculty of Business, Economics and Law) who studies academic wellbeing.
