Guest speakers PhD students Jing Jie Teh and James Volmer from UQDI (Morrison Lab).
Jing will be presenting Novel ex-vivo combination of microbe culture and metagenomic sequencing (MC-MGS) for functional characterisation of the Crohn’s disease mucosa-associated microbiota.
James will be presenting Genomic and culture-based analyses of human methanogenic archaea: implications for gastrointestinal health and disease.
