- Shining a light on safety and wellbeing across the UQ community, the Lantern Parade is an opportunity to gather with friends, family and loved ones and reflect on the successes and challenges of the year past whilst also celebrating the strength and unity of our community.
Walk together with individually lit, handmade lanterns; to see why we are so proud to call UQ our home. The parade will start in the Great Court with an official welcome and will conclude by the stunning UQ Lakes, where a moments silence and reflection will be taken for those affected by the events of the year past.
