Full Description:: UQ Safe Work Month event:

This presentation will focus on leading practice in incident investigation with particular focus on practical application. It will focus on how to develop the skills necessary to undertake evidence collection and analysis, in order to generate effective recommendations that enhance system safety.

Presenter: Philippa Dodshon. Philippa is completing her PhD in incident investigation.

Philippa previously worked as a Human Factors Principle Advisor at the Department of Transport and Main Roads's Rail Safety Regulation Branch (RSRB), where she was responsible for conducting human factors and safeworking audits, assessing the quality and thoroughness of industry investigation reports, providing human factors recommendations to industry projects, and engaging with industry bodies (e.g., Rail Human Factors Professional Group, Fatigue Advisory Implementation Group, etc).
