Full Description:: Not sure what a postdoc is? Wondering how people get them? This virtual session will help answer the ‘what,’ ‘why’ and ‘how’ questions you might have about postdocs (Postdoctoral Research Fellowships) and discuss the different postdoc pathways available. Presented by Professor Greg Monteith, Associate Dean (Research) for HaBS, this session is tailored to HDR students in HaBS but all are welcome to attend, including current postdocs. Four postdocs from HaBS who followed different postdoc pathways (NHMRC Investigator Grant, ARC DECRA, employed on a research grant or in industry) will also share their journeys from HDR student to postdoc.
