There is however a limited number of face to face spots available in order to comply with the COVID-19 guidelines. The UQ Mental Health Champion Network is a newly established program built on a community of volunteers (both staff and students), who have an interest:
• in promoting mental health and wellbeing events and initiatives, and
• supporting staff and students with mental health related queries and to refer them onto relevant support services.
This session provides an update on the role of a Mental Health Champion, the Community of Practice Network, the Mental Health Champion website and the benefits of adopting the program for UQ staff, work areas and staff supporting students.
