When respiratory protective equipment is required as part of a control strategy, it is critical it is selected and used appropriately to ensure the required levels of protection is being achieved for all workers. There are a number of factors and considerations that need to evaluated to provide confidence that workers are being protected for the specific task and working environments. One size doesn’t fit all, so how does a workplace evaluate if a respirator fits the worker?
