Full Description:: The South Pacific Islander Association (UQSPIA) in collaboration with UQlife bring you 'Mana of the Pacific', a cultural celebration of all pacific islander peoples past and present. Immerse yourself in their stories, music, traditions an arts and crafts during the day then attend a spectacular traditional feast and live show in the evening.

The first half of the day will be free and open to all, but tickets MUST be purchased for the dinner and performance if you wish to attend. This is a day not to be missed!

12-1pm - Living book series: Tales of the Pacific
1-3pm - Movie screening of VAI and panel discussion
1-4pm - Live entertainment & Pacific Island workshops
4-5.30pm - Second movie screening of VAI

NIGHT EVENT 5.30-8.00pm
Mana of the Pacific Luau
The word ‘Luau’ is native to the Hawaiian islands and is a traditional feast and showcase of traditional dance. The Mana of the Pacific Luau will feature a traditional Maori Hangi, Samoan Desserts and a complimenatry Tongan Mango Otai’ accompanied by Melanesian, Micronesian and Polynesian performances from Heilani and UQSPIA. This is a night not to be missed, bring your family and your friends. Tickets are on sale now.

Ticket Prices: $12 Students, $25 Community, $8 Children (3-12), free Children (0-2).
