Full Description:: To be data-driven requires an overarching data culture. What resources are available to you as a researcher (computing, storage, support)? What can you do to influence effective research data culture and foster research collaboration? During the morning, we will address these questions and provide opportunities for fruitful discussions. During the afternoon you have the opportunity to attend two optional hands-on workshops, with no previous knowledge required.

This is a UQ-based event and the resources are targeted for UQ researchers (Masters by research, PhD, early and mid career postdocs and fellows). We will provide information (tools, data and culture) that will help you navigate your research career at UQ. That said, everyone is welcome to attend - be inspired to learn more about what Research Data culture entitles and promote it at your own institution! This event will be repeated in the future and collaborators are welcome.
