UQ has an active hearing conservation program that utilises the Audiology Clinic within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at UQ. Topic of this session include:
• How the hearing system works
• Wax management
• Noise protection
• Importance of Regular hearing checks and what a hearing assessment entails
Interventions e.g. hearing aids, communication programs, assistive listening
