Event Description

Full Description:
The University of Queensland’s Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH) is pleased to invite healthcare managers, planners and policymakers to join us at UQ Brisbane City for this exciting one-day workshop.

At this workshop, you will hear from leading economic, business and psychology experts who will share with you their latest research and extensive experience of how to influence behavioural change within different healthcare settings and for a range of stakeholders, including patients, managers, providers and the wider community.

This workshop and our speakers’ topics will be structured around five session themes:

Behavioural economics: What it is and what it is not
Changing the behaviour of the public: Influencing needs
Changing the behaviour of patients: Influencing demands
Changing the behaviour of providers/managers: Influencing supply
Whither or wither behavioural economics in health policy? [panel discussion]
